At the church in Damascus, there is a place for everyone to learn more about God through thoughtful study of scripture and conversation. Every person, no matter their age, is invited to grow to be more like Jesus in our commmunity.
Current Study - The New Testament
Men's group
The men of our community gather on Wednesday evenings to study the Bible. Different men are invited to guide the conversation and share insights of their own personal study. It is a time of conversation and encouragement to deepen their understanding of God.
Current Study - The Old Testament Book of Daniel
women's group
The women gather on Wednesday evenings to pray for one another, learn from one another, and study scriptiure. Beginning June 3rd, they will make space for a study of the book of Job on Mondays at 6:00 p.m.
Current Study - "How Do You Handle..." A Study on Emotions & "Bad Girls of the Bible" by Liz Curtis Higgs
Our teenagers have time together on Wednesdays and Sundays to discuss relevant topics that can help them develop into compassionate disciples of Jesus. The teens also meet regularly for to spend time together outside of the church gatherings.
